Vacation Planning

Sometimes at work, i like to dream up all these different vacations for Mark and I. Even if they don't happen now, they possibly will later. I have been using Groupon, and finding cool hotels that are different and unique. Then from there i am looking up fun things to do in the area to really make the trip memorable. The trips are usually only 2-3 nights but still seem like tons of fun. I have been looking up the maps for each state that show where the lighthouses are located. Last October Mark and I went all around the cape looking at lighthouses, and I would like to continue doing that. Some of the hotels i have found are:
Trailside Inn, Killington VT
Captain Lindsey House, Rockland ME
Marriott Niagra Falls, Niagra Falls, ON
The trip i am currently planning is at the same resort we stayed in last year in the Cape. Bayside Beach Resort. Except this time, i am thinking about taking the ferry out to Nantucket to check out the lighthouses out there. Who knows for now, but i hope to plan something!

Happy New Years

Every year people make all kinds of resolutions... and typically people drop them by the second week in january, or if they are lucky, they can hold on until february. I had seen online the other day someones resolution was for people to start loving who they were and to accept themselves and to stop trying to always change.  NOW, i love that resolution and i hope people are able to accept who they are, except in my case i am not healthy, and not only do i want to become healthy, but i am stretching for a much larger goal, and i hope that i can accomplish it! Every year we always see the magazines post online and publish in their magazines people who are now half their size, and the before and after pictures. I want to be one of those people. Safe Haven

 **SPOILER ALERT** I typically do not like to read the books that get turned into movies because i will usually end up hating the book or the movie. However, when i was up at bowling i got talking to one of the other girlfriends who hang out up there and we got talking about Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. She suggested to read it, and she even gave me her copy of the book.  Ive had it for a few months now, and still didnt read it. I started about a month ago, and for the first few chapters, the book followed the movie, so i could almost see the movie playing in my head as i read. So i put the book down for a while. Just this past week i picked it back up again, and i finished it within days. The story is different.  In the movie Alex finds out about Katie's past because of the "wanted" poster up with her picture, however it really plays more into him finding out and its more a gradual thing in the book. Falltime Bucket List Update #5

Visit a Corn Maze  On 10/23/14 Mark and I went to a corn maze before Michael's football game. It was shaped like a vikings hat, and it was actually really fun. I had been to one when i was little and i had always wanted to go back to one. I was finally glad that i found one that was affordable! Last year all the corn mazes i had found cost about $30 or more. This one was $7! Perfect and i can not wait to go again next year.  Visit a Fall Festival  On 10/25/14 the town of Essex, CT held their annual pumpkin festival. I had been many years prior when i was babysitting someone, and i loved it! This year i made sure to look up the date, and when Mark got out of work we drive 30 minutes. The festival was fun! They had all the pumpkins that were carved and lit up. They had a band playing music and food and hot chocolate.
