Wait...What????

Hello! I have some exciting news. On Friday i placed a bid on a house that is located in Waterford, CT. It is a house that a builder bought, flipped, and is now selling. WELL...i heard back about my offer on Monday. Then on Tuesday after meeting with my new job i countered again, and we went back and forth a few times, and then we both SETTLED! Now you know what this means right??? I HAVE A HOUSE! Holy Cow. I am excited, but also the thought of "what did i just do" came to mind. I know this is a wonderful thing, especially since Mark is moving down July 14th, but it is also scary. It is a super cute, 936 sq ft home with a one car garage. There is a small private back yard. When you first walk in, there is the living room, and then one spare room. It is not technically a bed room since there is no closet. It would be perfect for a nursery...some day way in the future! Then there is a bed room, and a cute bathroom. Next is the kitchen, which is granite counters and black and stainless steal appliances. There is a dinning room, and then the master with my closet :) Across from the master is the basement which is where the laundry is located. Then out the backdoor (actually sidedoor) of the house, it connects you to a screened in porch. The house was staged for the showings, but when it is empty, and we move in, ill be sure to post pictures or before, during and after unpacking. August 1st is move in day (granted July 7th inspections go well), and i can not wait! For anyone that is curious...it is the house that I posted about on June 18th!

Every year people make all kinds of resolutions... and typically people drop them by the second week in january, or if they are lucky, they can hold on until february. I had seen online the other day someones resolution was for people to start loving who they were and to accept themselves and to stop trying to always change.  NOW, i love that resolution and i hope people are able to accept who they are, except in my case i am not healthy, and not only do i want to become healthy, but i am stretching for a much larger goal, and i hope that i can accomplish it! Safe Haven

 **SPOILER ALERT** I typically do not like to read the books that get turned into movies because i will usually end up hating the book or the movie. However, when i was up at bowling i got talking to one of the other girlfriends who hang out up there and we got talking about Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. She suggested to read it, and she even gave me her copy of the book.  Ive had it for a few months now, and still didnt read it. I started about a month ago, and for the first few chapters, the book followed the movie, so i could almost see the movie playing in my head as i read. So i put the book down for a while. Just this past week i picked it back up again, and i finished it within days. The story is different.  In the movie Alex finds out about Katie's past because of the "wanted" poster up with her picture, however it really plays more into him finding out and its more a gradual thing in the book. Falltime Bucket List Update #5

Visit a Corn Maze  On 10/23/14 Mark and I went to a corn maze before Michael's football game. It was shaped like a vikings hat, and it was actually really fun. I had been to one when i was little and i had always wanted to go back to one. I was finally glad that i found one that was affordable! Last year all the corn mazes i had found cost about $30 or more. This one was $7! Perfect and i can not wait to go again next year.  Visit a Fall Festival  On 10/25/14 the town of Essex, CT held their annual pumpkin festival. I had been many years prior when i was babysitting someone, and i loved it! This year i made sure to look up the date, and when Mark got out of work we drive 30 minutes. The festival was fun! They had all the pumpkins that were carved and lit up. They had a band playing music and food and hot chocolate.
