Date Night

It had been a while since Mark and I had been out on a nice date, so i figured this past Saturday, when we were up by him in MA it was going to be date night. I picked out a nice restaurant, and we got all dressed up and we went to dinner. We went to Stripers Grill & Inn in Salisbury, MA. We sat out on the porch over looking the water. To share we got a bowl of Clam Chowder, and it was delicious! Then we both ordered a pasta dish, and the salad bar came with the meal. So we both got a good size salad, and finished those. Then our meals came!
This was Marks meal. It was fried eggplant parmesan over linguini
This was my meal, chicken artichoke with diced tomatoes & mushrooms in a lemon, garlic, wine sauce
Mark during dinner. We took about two bites of our meals and we were already so full from the soup and salad.

I really love how this picture turned out of us! I was wearing a little black sun dress with a sweater and my hair was curled. Mark had on his nice button down long sleeve shirt. 
I just love my man! All in all, it was a wonderful night. When we got back home that night we decided to have a little camp out in the back yard, so we slept out in the tent and enjoyed each others company :)

Every year people make all kinds of resolutions... and typically people drop them by the second week in january, or if they are lucky, they can hold on until february. I had seen online the other day someones resolution was for people to start loving who they were and to accept themselves and to stop trying to always change.  NOW, i love that resolution and i hope people are able to accept who they are, except in my case i am not healthy, and not only do i want to become healthy, but i am stretching for a much larger goal, and i hope that i can accomplish it! Safe Haven

 **SPOILER ALERT** I typically do not like to read the books that get turned into movies because i will usually end up hating the book or the movie. However, when i was up at bowling i got talking to one of the other girlfriends who hang out up there and we got talking about Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. She suggested to read it, and she even gave me her copy of the book.  Ive had it for a few months now, and still didnt read it. I started about a month ago, and for the first few chapters, the book followed the movie, so i could almost see the movie playing in my head as i read. So i put the book down for a while. Just this past week i picked it back up again, and i finished it within days. The story is different.  In the movie Alex finds out about Katie's past because of the "wanted" poster up with her picture, however it really plays more into him finding out and its more a gradual thing in the book. It also shows her relationship with Jo more than in the movie,

Falltime Bucket List Update #5

Visit a Corn Maze  On 10/23/14 Mark and I went to a corn maze before Michael's football game. It was shaped like a vikings hat, and it was actually really fun. I had been to one when i was little and i had always wanted to go back to one. I was finally glad that i found one that was affordable! Last year all the corn mazes i had found cost about $30 or more. This one was $7! Perfect and i can not wait to go again next year.  Visit a Fall Festival  On 10/25/14 the town of Essex, CT held their annual pumpkin festival. I had been many years prior when i was babysitting someone, and i loved it! This year i made sure to look up the date, and when Mark got out of work we drive 30 minutes. The festival was fun! They had all the pumpkins that were carved and lit up. They had a band playing music and food and hot chocolate.
