Final Walk-Through

This upcoming Friday i have my final walk through. It is scheduled for 8:30 AM, and fortunately that is the day that Mark has off. So we will ride the ducati there, and have our walk-through. I guess this is when the builders will show us everything that has been done in the house. As long as i am satisfied, then i will be handed the keys. I am so excited to finally be able to be in my own home and start to unpack my things. Right now everything that i want to use, or find, is packed away somewhere, and i do not have access to it. I am so looking forward to finding all my things. I also look forward to finding homes for everything with the help of Mark. We all know guys, and unless they help put things away, they will never know where they are! (although they still sometimes don't know) So for now i am just trying to get through the week so i can get my own keys on Friday! I will be sure to take pics of the before (with all the rooms empty), during (all the stuff piled up everywhere), and then the after (all put away!) and post online so everyone can see :) A quick prayer that everything goes okay on Friday!

Every year people make all kinds of resolutions... and typically people drop them by the second week in january, or if they are lucky, they can hold on until february. I had seen online the other day someones resolution was for people to start loving who they were and to accept themselves and to stop trying to always change.  NOW, i love that resolution and i hope people are able to accept who they are, except in my case i am not healthy, and not only do i want to become healthy, but i am stretching for a much larger goal, and i hope that i can accomplish it! Safe Haven

 **SPOILER ALERT** I typically do not like to read the books that get turned into movies because i will usually end up hating the book or the movie. However, when i was up at bowling i got talking to one of the other girlfriends who hang out up there and we got talking about Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. She suggested to read it, and she even gave me her copy of the book.  Ive had it for a few months now, and still didnt read it. I started about a month ago, and for the first few chapters, the book followed the movie, so i could almost see the movie playing in my head as i read. So i put the book down for a while. Just this past week i picked it back up again, and i finished it within days. The story is different.  In the movie Alex finds out about Katie's past because of the "wanted" poster up with her picture, however it really plays more into him finding out and its more a gradual thing in the book. Falltime Bucket List Update #5

Visit a Corn Maze  On 10/23/14 Mark and I went to a corn maze before Michael's football game. It was shaped like a vikings hat, and it was actually really fun. I had been to one when i was little and i had always wanted to go back to one. I was finally glad that i found one that was affordable! Last year all the corn mazes i had found cost about $30 or more. This one was $7! Perfect and i can not wait to go again next year.  Visit a Fall Festival  On 10/25/14 the town of Essex, CT held their annual pumpkin festival. I had been many years prior when i was babysitting someone, and i loved it! This year i made sure to look up the date, and when Mark got out of work we drive 30 minutes. The festival was fun! They had all the pumpkins that were carved and lit up. They had a band playing music and food and hot chocolate.
