Mary Kate and Ashley

Growing up i was OBSESSED with the Olsen twins, as i am sure other young teen girls were too. Well my enjoyment of their books and movies has stuck with me through the years. I am the girl in college, who has almost all of their DVDs and plays them on a regular basis while studying or cleaning. Now they are played while studying and cleaning because they are background noise, that is because i know them all, almost word for word. 
So i decided, i was going to make one big list of all their books and movies, and try to collect them all. So far i have a good collection going, but i still need more. The local used book store in town told me that they no longer accept the MKA books, but if they know i want them, i can give them a list of which ones, and they will put them aside for me! 
I also now find myself going to places like goodwill to try and find the old VHS tapes that people have donated because they no longer want them. I also have been doing some research and back in 2001 the twins came out with their own magazine. Now it only came out with 3 issues before it was canceled. So you can imagine how rare they are to find. I have been searching for the maagzine for a few months now. I found and purchased issue one (it has not gotten to me yet), and i have found and purchased issue two (that one i have and is pictured below). When i got the magazine i was not sure of the condition, however it is brand new! In a plastic sleeve and everything. I cannot wait to keep collecting, and keep watching their movies.
Here are the top two shelves of my book shelf. The top one is completely mary kate and Ashley, along with two of the barbies i had, and a signed picture of one of the guys (Ben Easter) from the movie holiday in the sun and he is in the TV show So little time. I absolutely love him and he even signed it to me! The second shelf currently is only half filled, but i am sure that will change soon. 

Here are the VHS tapes i have. I have actually found another since this pic was taken, and this does not include their movies which i have on DVD. 

The second issue of their magazine that i had mentioned above. I have read the first half, and i will read the second half hopefully soon. I cant wait to get the first issue in the mail.

Happy New Years

Every year people make all kinds of resolutions... and typically people drop them by the second week in january, or if they are lucky, they can hold on until february. I had seen online the other day someones resolution was for people to start loving who they were and to accept themselves and to stop trying to always change.  NOW, i love that resolution and i hope people are able to accept who they are, except in my case i am not healthy, and not only do i want to become healthy, but i am stretching for a much larger goal, and i hope that i can accomplish it! Every year we always see the magazines post online and publish in their magazines people who are now half their size, and the before and after pictures. I want to be one of those people. Safe Haven

 **SPOILER ALERT** I typically do not like to read the books that get turned into movies because i will usually end up hating the book or the movie. However, when i was up at bowling i got talking to one of the other girlfriends who hang out up there and we got talking about Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. She suggested to read it, and she even gave me her copy of the book.  Ive had it for a few months now, and still didnt read it. I started about a month ago, and for the first few chapters, the book followed the movie, so i could almost see the movie playing in my head as i read. So i put the book down for a while. Just this past week i picked it back up again, and i finished it within days. The story is different.  In the movie Alex finds out about Katie's past because of the "wanted" poster up with her picture, however it really plays more into him finding out and its more a gradual thing in the book. It also shows her relationship with Jo more than in the movie,

Falltime Bucket List Update #5

Visit a Corn Maze  On 10/23/14 Mark and I went to a corn maze before Michael's football game. It was shaped like a vikings hat, and it was actually really fun. I had been to one when i was little and i had always wanted to go back to one. I was finally glad that i found one that was affordable! Last year all the corn mazes i had found cost about $30 or more. This one was $7! Perfect and i can not wait to go again next year.  Visit a Fall Festival  On 10/25/14 the town of Essex, CT held their annual pumpkin festival. I had been many years prior when i was babysitting someone, and i loved it! This year i made sure to look up the date, and when Mark got out of work we drive 30 minutes. The festival was fun! They had all the pumpkins that were carved and lit up. They had a band playing music and food and hot chocolate.
