Rocky's Aqua

One of the restaurants that I looked into is called: Rocky's Aqua and it is located right on the water in Clinton, CT. We have been here once before, when my grammy came up from Ohio to visit and Mark met her for the first time. We all enjoyed it when we were there.
So Mark and I went down to check it all out. They told us that with a party our size, we would have the entire porch to ourselves. They told us that included in the buffet is: baked scrod, chicken marsala, flank steak, penne ala vodka, mashed potatoes, green beens, salad, coffee and tea.
They do not include dessert so we would be able to bring in our own cake if that is what we chose. It was the perfect location.

This is a picture of the seating, and how it would be set up for the rehearsal dinner. You can see it is casual, and right on the water. The sides can go up and down pending on the weather.

The only thing about the location, is that they close down for the season in Jan. They will re open again in April, and the manager said that they will not book anything until when they re open next season. So that makes me super anxious, since i would like things booked and checked off! I guess ill be waiting until April to book my rehearsal dinner.

Until i decide which one...

Every year people make all kinds of resolutions... and typically people drop them by the second week in january, or if they are lucky, they can hold on until february. Safe Haven

 **SPOILER ALERT** I typically do not like to read the books that get turned into movies because i will usually end up hating the book or the movie. However, when i was up at bowling i got talking to one of the other girlfriends who hang out up there and we got talking about Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. She suggested to read it, and she even gave me her copy of the book.  Ive had it for a few months now, and still didnt read it. I started about a month ago, and for the first few chapters, the book followed the movie, so i could almost see the movie playing in my head as i read. So i put the book down for a while. Just this past week i picked it back up again, and i finished it within days. The story is different.  In the movie Alex finds out about Katie's past because of the "wanted" poster up with her picture, however it really plays more into him finding out and its more a gradual thing in the book. Falltime Bucket List Update #5

Visit a Corn Maze  On 10/23/14 Mark and I went to a corn maze before Michael's football game. It was shaped like a vikings hat, and it was actually really fun. I had been to one when i was little and i had always wanted to go back to one. I was finally glad that i found one that was affordable! Last year all the corn mazes i had found cost about $30 or more. This one was $7! Perfect and i can not wait to go again next year.  Visit a Fall Festival  On 10/25/14 the town of Essex, CT held their annual pumpkin festival. I had been many years prior when i was babysitting someone, and i loved it! This year i made sure to look up the date, and when Mark got out of work we drive 30 minutes. The festival was fun! They had all the pumpkins that were carved and lit up. They had a band playing music and food and hot chocolate.
