My second virtual race completed! The yellow brick road to Oz. This race was a total of 26.2 miles, all of which I pushed myself to run. Another one bites the dust.
As you know, I have been househunting lately and my realtor suggested looking in a town called Montville. So I went online and instantly realized houses are cheaper there, same quality, same house space, just the prices are lower than where I have been looking. Well I found this lake community and there are two houses, there one is close to the water and the other one is a few streets away. Both way under the prices of all the other houses I had looked at before. I am currently going to hold off I'm going to see them. I want to wait until when I am closer to being approved for a mortgage that way if I really like that I would actually have a chance of getting the house. So for now I am keeping an eye on the houses along with looking for other ones that come up in any lake community in the area. Mark and I both agree that it would be so fun to live in a lake community. His sister does right out and they love it. I hope that someday I will be able to as well :)
Tonight is friday, and typically i am excited that tomorrow i have the day off, to just hang out and relax. But this time around i decided to pick up an admission for one of my jobs, and i picked up another admission for another one of my jobs. Making two admissions tomorrow, on my "day off". I want to start picking up more work, and not feel so worried about money. That would be nice! What i have started to do is for every pay check i get 15% goes into my savings and 15% goes into my vacation fund. That way i am working hard, but it allows me almost an "allowance" to have fun! Now that i am getting more work, it is time to focus on my fitness. Mark had asked me what i did last time to make it work, and the truth was that i did classes. I used to do boot camp on mondays, combat on wednesday, and friday i did body pump. Tuesday, thursday and saturday i did a regular workout at the gym, and sundays i took off. The only reason i really took it off was because i was wor...
I had mentioned a little while ago that Mark and I were going camping for a weekend. It ended up being such a beautiful weekend. We went to Burlingame State Campground in Charlestown RI. We were there Friday-Monday, and had a blast. Friday night we got there just as it was about to get dark so we rushed to get set up, and then made some dinner and a camp fire. On Saturday we got up and made breakfast, and then we went out bike riding. I showed him around the campground since this was his first time there. When we got back we went to the beach and took a swim together, the campground is on Watchaug Pond. The water was quite cold, but we still has fun. We enjoyed playing card games together between "go fish" "old maid" "war" and "spit". Right around late afternoon we took a drive into Watch Hill (Westerly, RI) which was about 15 minutes away. Once in town we stopped at the little ice cream shop and got ice cream, and then we walked out to...
