Updated Living Room

I have decided to go room by room in our new home and make it our own. This was something i didn't do in our last home. 

I want to make this home our own. 

First i started with the paint color, which made a HUGE difference in the room. 

After that i worked on two pieces of furniture that i re did. Here are all of my pictures.

Here is what it looked like with what we were using for furniture...a love seat and recliner 

The after with the nice color grey that we picked out. It looked much better! We have since replaced the couch with a very nice brown sectional. 

An old desk from my grandparents house. It needed some love! 

The desk after. Fresh coat of paint which was called "coral bluff" and its more pink than coral, oh well. New hardware as well. 

The Mr & Mrs letters i made for our wedding by covering them in hundreds of tiny pearls, so i placed a bunch of photos for all of our travels. The frames have since been all filled.

Finally hung a piece of artwork by the desk with a tan matching lamp from my bedroom growing up

I am really happy with how the living room turned out. All that is left to do is buy a bigger TV and mount it to the wall!
