Race to Oz

My second virtual race completed! The yellow brick road to Oz. This race was a total of 26.2 miles, all of which I pushed myself to run. Another one bites the dust.

Make Candy Apples On 11/4/14 Mark helped me make candy apples. At the store in the baking isle i bought a bunch of things. I bought a bag of caramels meant for melting. Then i also bought sprinkles, peanut M&Ms, chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips. First i melted the caramel and dipped the apples, stuck them in the fridge for a while. Then i did the same with chocolate and before those cooled i dipped them in the different candies. I found this idea on a blog on line. Not just a bump, but a mountain of moguls

So i finally pass the nursing course at Fitchburg State, however....to take my boards in CT i need to be awarded my degree. FSU only awards degrees in December and May. So that means that if i want to take my boards in CT then i have to wait until i get my degree. They are awarding them on May 17th. Then it would take a few weeks to get my transcript stating i received my degree. Then i can send in my paperwork, wait about 10 days and then go online and pick out a date. By that time it will be the end of June. Um no thanks. I need to take it ASAP. So now even though i have made the hard decision to move back home, now i am dragged back to Mass because that is the only way i can take my test somewhat soon. So i dont know where i am going to work now or what is going to happen with me trying to save money. I thought i was finally clear of this type of stress, but it looks like i was wrong. Def taking my Ativan tomorrow, and possibly the next few days. I dont want to turn into a grump mon...

Baby Stack-Growing Quickly

This pregnancy has been going by very quickly! Today i am exactly 3 months away from my due date which is so exciting. I have had a very nice pregnancy. First trimester i was extremely tired, otherwise i felt great. No sickness or nausea. I had about two weeks where i had no appetite, but ill take it! Second trimester I've been good. My back is starting to hurt, and sleeping is becoming more and more difficult. I am getting more short of breath and clothing that fit is harder to find. I have been keeping VERY busy between work and redoing the nursery for baby stack. I will post about the nursery next. Here are a few pictures I've taken along the way. This was the first day i found out we were expecting! I had just gotten to my lowest weight, making my weight loss a total of 69lbs!  Half way there and growing very quickly.
